For furnishing an (owner-occupied) apartment, which stores are best in terms of value, quality, choice etc? Any stores to avoid? Please share your experiences of places in Cork city and suburbs. Thanks very much in advance!

Small claims court not an option as we paid more that €2,000 for the suite, must be under that.
