I've been watching some of the running demos of Oblivion that Gamespot released. It's incredible. I'm looking forward to this in a way I haven't looked forward to a game since Half-Life 2.

well, i preordered it from play.com for 30 quid. a 5iver more than the ordinary one. not too sure what that equates to in funny yoyo muney.

i just hope it arrives delivered on friday, and they just dont decide to ship it on friday. i will be so upset, i will probably go to the shops and buy another copy, just sop i can play it over the weekend!

If you haven't got a shipped notice by now you can take it you'll be buying another copy on friday.
On the other games I've preordered from play they've all been shipped on the day of release and taken about a week to arrive.

This game is f*cking unreal! Blagged a copy off a mate who works in a games shop in town. Aint too much of a system hog either, have it running incredibly well at 1024x768 with all settings on high on my x800xl.

this is why i recently purchased myself an amd 64 3700, 3gig ram and an x800gto.

and yes, i also got the ship order today. im hoping it arrives into work on friday.

when i see those screen shots, i get a sort of warm feeling in my crotch. it may be a bit more wee coming out.
but then again, it may be something far more exciting!

Total madness pre-ordering this when the collectors edition is €45, yes €45, in XtraVision. I never pre-order. If I am that excited about it I have to buy it on the day anyway. How often does a pre-order arrive on the day of release??? If I'm not that excited about it I can order it anytime. Anyway go buy it in XtraVision, or demand the equivilent price in Game who are probably charging €60.

Well, pre-order is in a normal store too, that way you secure a copy. On release day it might have sold out if it's very popular or there are few copies.

Good tip though, I haven't preordered this so I'll be popping into Xtravision later for the CE

Just got home, installing now. It's 49.99 in Smyths, but you get 10% off with the (free) card so it's 45 there. Collectors Edition.

Xtravision in Blanch said they got 1 copy in (which they had sold, of course)
