What's your WPM? (Geek Test)

My worst is 59 WPM and my best is 79 WPM. I reckon I average somewhere in between those two scores.

I selected the "Touch Typer" option, I'm not sure if that changes results.

Since we're all self-confessed keyboard warriors, I declare that the race to find the biggest keyboard warrior of them all is now ON!

Plus, the winner will have the joy of being inundated with requests to type essays.

Slowest 51, fastest 89. Suppose I'm normally about 65-70 odd.

Hmm. If Scraggs is offering to judge, we should get her to come up with an A4 page or two of text, and have laptops back-to-back somewhere (I guess the Student Centre basically).

Scraggs presents us both at the same time with the identical text to be typed, and first person to type it in full correctly (Scraggs to be the judge of its validity or not, obviously) is the winn-ah.

Also I'm getting rsi or carpel tunnel (I forget which is which) from all the computer stuff in work.

It's really hard to do ergonomics when you're 5'0"

Tbh I think you lose .5WPM for every mistake you actually make anyway, because you could have typed another half-word in the time it took to fix the error.

ok I'm really sucky now I dont whats come over me.. I'm only getting 28 now with both hands... And I tried good ol' righty and I'm on 25... must have been a fluke
