    Not working well in Galway this evening, spent the last 45 minutes trying to get to any site, and could not connect to msh/yahoo/icq

    ok, try ping 127.0.0.1 to see if your NIC is in good shape, then your gateway IP address and finally try your ISP's DNS servers.

    At least you will know its not your end thats causing any problems and it is in fact your ISP.
