Can I get Broadband if the Exchange is activated

Hi Just wondering if I can get broadband if the exchange is activated. Cant check my own line because the house is not connected yet. But just checked my fathers line with esatbt and not available. Is it only Eircom that would be available. I am in the Geashill exchange area about 4 miles from the exchange. Thanks

You're too far out I'd say. Eircoms distance from exchange limit is 4.5km. 4 miles is around 6.4km.
