Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I dunno if this is some sort of sop to the BCI, but Today FM have given its current affairs programme The Last Word an extra half-hour. So it starts at 4.30 pm.

Will RTEs 5-7 Live re-act and give us 4.30-7 live which wont scan! :p

    Mike.

It's to compete with George Hook's 'Right Hook' on Newstalk.

Today FM should be getting Cooper off the air, not giving him more time.

rubbish The Last Word is a class show. Great format well presented none of your opinionated, parochial, 'big fish in a small pond' ****e you get from other current affairs programs

Matt Cooper is run of the mill IMHO. Not great, but not mind numbingly bad either. He gets a good run in interrogatory style interviewing going from time to time, which makes things more palatable.

Have you ever heard Cooper? He's as opinionated as they come; which in itself would be fine except he is constantly misinformed or biased. They get interesting stories/people, yet when I hear Cooper try and make a point I want to cry.
