    EVIL HARRISON’S
with Epoch Rising [closing set] / [Lost] / LPX
RADIO CITY, STORE ST. / WEDNESDAY MARCH 29TH 2006
    DOORS 8.30PM / ADMISSION 5 EUROS

The Electric Fix #11 takes place in Radio City of Store St., on Wednesday March 29th 2006. Performing at this event will be EVIL HARRISON’S, supported by very special guests EPOCH RISING, [LOST] and LPX (See details below).
There will be much in the way of random electronic noise, critical chin stroking and mass testicle swelling (rather unlikely though…).

    EVIL HARRISON’S
Formed in 2004, Evil Harrison’s are: Paul Carolan (Drums), Barry Dwyer (Guitar), Rónán Murphy (Vocals) and Nicolas Puyané (Bass). Well received gigs in Cork (UCC Student's Union, The Quad), Dublin (TBMC, The Sugar Club) and the bands’ home; Dundalk (where they play regularly in Ireland's very own Cavern Club, The Spirit Store), have yielded the band a solid live reputation and committed fan base.
The forthcoming double A-sided single features the live favourites “You’re My Ears and My Big Toes” and “Oh Bonnie”. Scheduled for release in late April 06, the Marc Carolan (Thrills/Muse/JJ72) produced tracks showcase the groups’ willingness to experiment with genres while remaining true to their individual style. With alluring lyrical promises pining to "...fly to your Thailand soul and make Bang Kwang a Shangri-La!", its best to book your seat now - while there’s still room on the flight.

    EPOCH RISING
The band's live shows have generated much interest and include a projected thematic video montage that complements the energetic rhythms, driving guitars, and harmonic outburst of their songs. 2006 sees Epoch Rising emerge with one Derrick Tallon on drums and a host of new sounds & songs that most definitely 'up the ante'. Did someone say rocket ship?
    [LOST]
Dark, expansive, emotive, [Lost] are a four-peice alternative rock quartet based in Dublin Ireland. [Lost] is the collective brainchild of Daragh Anderson [Vocals, guitars, piano, synths and samples] Alan Greene [Guitars, vocals, piano] Stephen Burke [Bass, vocals] Paul Reilly [Drums, vocals, glockenspiel, samples].
Their music ranges from ambient electronica to technically minded overdriven rock. The [Lost] sound is constantly evolving, but always emphasises a strong melodic nature. The [Lost] live show has been described as an intensely energetic and interactive experience. Four part harmonies and intricate yet contagiously catchy compositions characterize their sound.
Over the past year, [Lost] have headlined a number of successful gigs and recently stirred interest playing the Hard Working Class Heroes and Le Chéile festivals. [Lost] are currently gigging and recording new material.
LPX (formerly ‘lube: Project_X’) consists of just Leigh O'Gorman. He creates electronic and dub music and has been performing in the area of sound engineering, production, and computer music for approximately four years now. In 2005, Leigh created the Electric Fix - a collective of artists, musicians, and alternativist people and is gigging regularly (ish) now. When performing, he uses Reason 2.5, Cubase SX, and his brain.
    Thank you.
