Depends on how big the wisteria is. Wisteria don't like root disturbance.

You have just about enough time to attempt this - try to move it before it starts into growth.

When moving, do the following - water very well at least an hour before you move it.

Then dig around the roots, leaving a good circle of soil around the stem. The key thing is to leave as much soil around the roots as possible - if the wisteria is big, you're going to need 2+ people for this job.

Before you attempt to move it, you should have dug a large hole in the new planting position, and broken up the bottom of the hole, adding manure/compost etc. Fill the hole with water and allow it to drain away.

Then move your wisteria, trying to keep the soil ball around the roots as intact and as large as possible. Don't whatever you do allow the roots to dry out when moving the plant - if you need to, wrap them in sacking while moving it. When planting, firm the soil well around the roots in the new hole, and water the plant in very well.

Your wisteria will need constant watering and attention for at least the first year after it has been transplanted. Don't prune it after transplanting, as this will only encourage new growth which might stress the damaged roots.
