    Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me. I've got a problem with my 128mb USB key. It's got about 100 mb of files on it and when I tried to save other files onto it today it stopped me saving them onto the key. Nothing (i.e. no major falls, being put in the washing machine etc) has happened to the key. It was working perfectly yesterday.

    Any ideas?

Check for a 'write protect' switch on the usb key.

Or perhaps it's been assigned 'read only' by 2000/XP?
Right click the drive in My Computer and uncheck the 'read only' box.

Failing that, copy all the data off and format the bugger (if you can).
