Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If you are after a new device it will have WM5. The smallest seems to be HP 1950. Low processor and small memory are problems.
if you don't want new go for Hp 4150

    What's your budget?

hi, someone posted a pretty good deal from Dell for one of their AXIMs at the moment:
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2054904630

but if small is key then one of the more recent models from the i-mate JAM range would be a good option, check prices on the likes of www.expansys.ie

Based on my x50 Axim (With WM2003,so it should be similar across other ranges):
    - you'll want to install another browser, other than the default pocket IE - it doesn't display JavaScript and it,well, quite crap in most respects.
    - a version of MSN is installed by default
    - word/excell/access are all catered for
    - a built-in email client & contacts list are supplied

Most of these are requirements are met as standard. So, redefine your requirements: price, size, wieght, etc.

There's always a potential for incompatibility issues. But, essentially, yes (Provided you're authorised to do so, of course.)

What price range? Any other features?

I'll have to vote for an axim,as it's what I use regularly.

have a look at www.pocketpc.com - may be better if you have a think about your specific needs/wants rather than all the tech that can be crammed into them (as there is lots from ones with Phones or GPS to other more basic models) - would help you choose or let others suggest some that fit your requirements best

also, take a look at the PocketPC areas on the various manufacturer sites e.g. HP, Dell, i-mate, eten, etc.
