Looks pretty sh*t but I'm interested in hearing it.

The artwork is so bad though :p

I don't think it sounds too bad.

    Untill I saw 'Fightstar'.
Then I got sick in my throat a little.

You may well moan about some of the 'poppier' choice of artists on it (and I may well agree), but on the other hand, I really don't see the point of having metal bands cover another metal band's music. It's just old; recycled and recycled. What you want is a different genre's take on the music.
At least she's extremely attractive. I would certainly like to stick my penis into her vagina and create friction. Plus, she's Canadian. Who doesn't have a thing for chicks who say 'Aboot'?
Maybe, but I don't see how that counts for anything when you're sat listening to a CD. Unless - you think her vocals are extremely attractive? Gotta agree about the accent, though :)

On Tommy's not about genre to genre cover.
That's another reason why I thought KoRn were he only successful band at Metallica icon.

They have a really unique sound that translated well in their cover, and the song would have worked as it's own song.

just a pity that the song wont feature on the album :)

Ok lets play the game - create your ultimate Master of Puppets tribute album - which bands would you like to see covering what songs - I have to think about this, so I will post my list later on

And remember one band - one song :)

As someone who has time for all of the bands on that list apart from Mendeed (simply because I've never heard of them), I was delighted to see this happening. Not because I have any interest in listening to it, but because I knew it would make so many people recoil in disgust at the some of the artists doing covers, namely FFAF and Fightstar, hahah. I really like Fightstar by the way. Suck on that!

Anyone catch Metallica: ICON on Mtv a year or two ago, there were some good covers on that, Limp Bizkit & Korn being the best imo. I'm just trying to get Sum41 and that chick with the tie out of my head.

I thought Sum41 actually were the best out of all the bands. I think maybe cos they did an instrunmental medley with F*ck all singing.. can't remember. Korn were pretty good, Limp Biznitch were terrible.. purely because of Fred Durst but that's enough tto ruin anything, Staind were bollox, Avril Lavigne was hilarious.. who's idea was that

I met Metallica a few years ago and Hetfield was sayin how a girl I was with looked like Avril Lavigne, so I asked him what he Reaally thought of her cover of Fuel that time. he couldn't stop laughin and just said said she was pretty brave to get up there and do it in front of them... but that was all the praise she was gettin. lol
