Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    SAINTS V SHELBOURNE UPDATE
Tickets are now on sale in the club office for the Dublin Derby with Shelbourne this Friday. Due to the large crowd expected for this match at Richmond Park, supporters are encouraged to purchase their tickets ahead of time.

With two clean sheets under their belt, the Saints are in excellent condition and are ready to welcome the opposition, with Manager John McDonnell’s pick of a full squad. We need all Pats’ fans to come out and support our team for this Dublin dual!

With the recent success of the squad it is important to see all supporters of the club in the stands. Come make you voices heard and presence felt and let’s get behind our team!

The ground is meant to be ready (last week only the stand was open) i not holding my breath for this so anyone thinking of going get your ticket early.

Part of the Camac side may be open but the Shed is gone and wont be open for a while yet.

Todays Indo says the pitch has been re-marked too. Does "ahead of time" mean an hour before the game or Thursday or what?

see they're begging for the fans to come and endure them. (joke)

should be a good game pats on form and shels not finding goal recently intresting mix

    i predict 2-1 shels

Due to the large crowd expected

Unbeaten, so the crowds are back. Bandwagon jumpers! Its safe to assume it wont be Shels fans making up the majority here anyways ;)

I would go with thursday if you going. If you need tickets let us know.

Pitch is 20 feet longer or thereabouts. Stand holds 1750 (hehe seemingly) so thats all they can allow in if the ground is closed, it was full at the Waterford game with 250 behind the goal.

Thanks kdjac, that pitful really. the 1st div average is horrible.
the league (both of em) need serious redevlopment and advertising. like in the uk the way theymake it "an experience" for everyone, like going to the zoo/to see a play/cinema it needs something done to it

About the same as the average Shels attendences! In fact Looking at Kdjacs post, it seems most clubs would be happy with what City had last night - 1500+ on a freezing cold Tuesday night, when there is televised footy on the box.

Kildare, Kilkenny and Monaghan would want to take a long look at themselves and wonder are they even viable. The rest of the 1st division is very poor also, but unfortunatley, i really cant see things improving in either division much beyond what we have at present.

Isn't going to see Shamrock Rovers exactly like going to the zoo anyway :p

I'm sorry, but you left yourself wide open for that one

Am I the only one who thinks that Cork's 1,500 crowd for the Portadown game is terrible, considering they are the champions?

Having said that, I'm sure the place will be packed tomorrow night. I hope so, because we are bringing a decent crowd. ;)
