screen printing ?

anyone any experience with screen printing? I need Tshirts done but its looking like it would be cheaper to buy the gear and do it myself than have them printed.

I assure you that,whilst it being a cheaper option, it's not advisable to print yourself. The quality will not come close to a professional printers'.

i would advise u to try and DIY it. dont listen to the guys here, if yr making band tshirts yr way better off not going the professional route, aestheticly and credibility wise.

I got one printed "professionally" in a print shop in Cork and the quality would have been as good if I had glued a sheet of paper on to the fabric myself. It started flaking apart after one wash (cold, gentle cycle, in a protective bag). So I would definitely favour the DIY approach after that.
