Not a complex thread,but figured it'd be ok as there are many blues threads at all! Mines definately Magic Sams west Side Soul! Sams been my favourite for a couple of years, his singles collection and albums West Side Soul and Black Magic are never too far from my stereo.

Son House "Father of the delta blues: the complete 1965 sessions".
Definitely my faveourite but followed closely by Robert Johnson "the complete collection".

man i have to strongly agree with that, even though he did fall out with Howlin Wolf i still think that without Son house and a few others Blues with not have evolved the way it did.
