Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Everyone has tipped Blackburn so far!

I know Rovers are playing Sunderland but its games like this that worry me. They're well due a win.

drogba should have been sent off for that dive. absolutely disgraceful... not even a yellow card and the ref had a great view of it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,953 ✭✭✭blu_sonic

drogba bullit, turned the defender inside out. james went to ground far too soon

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,225 ✭✭✭Chardee MacDennis

drogba hand ball and scores. how the linesman hasnt seen it?

blatent hand ball, 2-0 drogba 2nd

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,541 ✭✭✭Davei141

Drogba uses his arm to control and the goal is given. Sickening. The officials bottled it.

Its time for video refereeing after the game for awarding retro cards.

It won't nullify the goal but at least cheats will get banned.

    Mike.

drogba has to be the most blatant cheat the premiership has ever seen; officials should watch his games and see how much he dives and just never award him anything even if it is a stone cold foul.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,541 ✭✭✭Davei141

What annoys me most is not that drogba cheated, but that the linesman seen it and was too weak to call it.

2 weeks in a row now for the man that i am really starting to hate, justice prevailed last week, this week, the cheating B*****d gets away with it, the city players must be sickened to see that.

    blackburn 1-0 up on sunderland

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,953 ✭✭✭blu_sonic

i'd bet didy drogba is the most hated man in football by the fans

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

Why is it that if you hand ball to stop a goal scoring oppurtunity it's a red card, but if you handball to create a goal scoring oppurtunity, its only a yellow?

Distan sent off for arguing about the handball. Officials 2 city 0.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,953 ✭✭✭blu_sonic

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,225 ✭✭✭Chardee MacDennis

distan off, officials have been shocking so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,953 ✭✭✭blu_sonic

that must be a record for the quickest yellow to red ever

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,057 ✭✭✭TheMonster

that linesman should never get another game - theres no way he couldn't have seen it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 631 ✭✭✭andrewie

He had to have seen it. maybe he was scared to put up his flag. Drogba and chelsea just can't stop cheating!

are they saying he was booked for not giving the ball back and booked for disent, so 2 yellows equal a red but that has to be a record for the quickest yellow to red ever

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 631 ✭✭✭andrewie

Arsenal match this evening has been postponed due to waterlogged pitch.

drogba is a dirty diving cheat, now i accept that he got poked in the eye by mistake but hes made a huge meal out of it, and roll around like he's been shot in the box???

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Diving Drogba has just been named Man Of the Match!

He went down after it happened when he couldn't get a shot in. I didn't see the need to fall like that. He really is making a show of himself week in week out.

Did he try a handball against newcastle aswell? I heard that it is the third time in 3 games that he's tried that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,953 ✭✭✭blu_sonic

your preaching to the converted here i think that didz is a joke for a pro footballer

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,951 ✭✭✭✭Villain

The linesman and ref in charge of the Chelsea game should be demoted two divisions for the rest of the reason, they are a disgrace to the league. Actually if the linesman didn't see that handball he should just be sacked. Distin IMO as Cpatain has a right to question a decision that bad.

Drogba in FiveLive inteview just admited handball and reckons cheating is okay.

    Mike.

the FA may be interested in that case

what an idiot. he should know by now whatever you say in the media will always be investigated by the FA

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,953 ✭✭✭blu_sonic

    he must be a moron

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

ha, he is going to get banned for three matches now, just like Beckham was.

Unbelieveable, even if the FA don't go after him then he's just changed the way refs will look at him during games.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,251 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

Doubt it. Robbie Keane admitted to handling the ball in a goal against Sunderland earlier this year and he wasn't banned. He didn't say cheating was okay though, he said it was just luck.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,953 ✭✭✭blu_sonic

diddy is a cheat. now a self confesed cheat

lads, what's the story with the portsmouth V arsenal game?
i heard it was postponed but arsenal got the points??

it's just that i have arsenal to win in an accumulator which is looking pretty good at the moment but i'm wondering if it got postponed and arsenal didn't get the points, will it be counted as a loss in the accumulator?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,251 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

Not sure about your accumulator but the game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 631 ✭✭✭andrewie
