Smart - Waiting time to install after ordering?

    Just ordered Smart Broadband online. Their customer care line isn't working for some reason (a bad omen me thinks).

    Anyone know how long it takes until I recieve the installation kit etc?

    I just got a line activated with Eircom on Friday so there shouldn't any problems with cessation times etc.

    I ordered Smart the end of January.
    Left UTV the 17th Feb, and went to Eircom.
    Got the modem no problem, that part all went easily.

    Smart told me I was active on March 4th.
    In reality, Eircom buggered something up in the exchange and I have been without a phone since March 2nd.

    Eircom blame Smart and Smart blame Eircom.
    I'm not the only one on the Smart support forums in the same situation.

    It's a nightmare and no-one in either company appears to give a sh1t. I'm on Summerhill exchange in Dublin.
