Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok I have what some people will probably think is a stupid question and I reckon there must be a very simple answer but for the life of me I cant find it.

I use a wireless connection in my appartment. I am using a latidude d500 laptop and windows XP. After about 10 - 15 mins of me using the wireless it suddenly stops working. Constantly. I still have full signal but am no longer connected. If i log out of the user account and log back in (or obviously turn off my computer and restart it) it works again for 10-15 mins, and so forth. This also happens if i attempt to use wireless in college. I reckon it must be a setting i have put on (it started around 6 weeks ago) and there is no problem if i connect using a lan cable.

    Anyone got any idea//??

Let me guess. You have an Intel 2200BG wireless card.

    Google for problems...........there are plenty.

Try only using the B setting and not the G. That seems to solve the problem. Or you could upgrade to a 2195ABG card it seems to be more reliable.

If that is not your card. Just get the latest driver for the card and check for firmware updates for your router.

Firmware and driver updates all 'round.
Are you using WEP or WPA?
