    Hi i am having a problem creating a method to synthsis an accent. for example a dublin accent of cork accent. changing "how are you" to "howyeeh" or "howaaar yeh"

    Any suggestions please post

    Hi there, if you are using a TTS engine which supports VoiceXML like festival then you can change the way a word is pronounced. You could use a script to add pronunciation tags to common words (and with the Cork accent insert the word 'like' randomly ;-)
