    "Sincere apologies for the delay in sending details about IYC 2006. This was due to a combination of reasons beyond our control. As a result we need your help to move forward as quickly and effectively as possible so that IYC 2006 is the very best it can and should be.

    There are two things that we need you to do as soon as
    possible:

    1. Inform us if you wish to be a member of IYC 2006 on
    the basis of being available for the inclusive period 23
    June (8.00 p.m. onwards) to 2 July 2006
    Please e-mail us:
    iyc@cnc.ie at your earliest convenience

    2. Help us to spread the word about IYC 2006 by telling all
    your choral friends that they can apply to join IYC 2006
    by e-mailing iyc@cnc.ie. A brochure has been distributed,
    nothing recruits more effectively and appropriately than
    word-of-mouth recommendation from an existing or past
    member

    Residential course details and nationwide IYC auditions
    details are as follows:

    Annual Residential Rehearsal Course: Friday 23 June
    – Sunday 2 July 2006
    Commences @ 8.00 p.m. on Friday 23 June 2006
    Connolly Hall, Cork School of Music, Lower Oliver Plunkett Street, Cork
    Repertory:
    Duruflé’s Messe “Cum Jubilo” for male voices & organ
    Poulenc’s Litanies à la vierge noire for female voices & organ
    Langlais’ Messe solennelle for mixed-voice choir & organ

    Concert Performance:
    Saturday 1 July 2006 @ St Colman’s Cathedral, Cobh.

    Auditions:
    Dublin – Wednesday 26 April 2006 (5 – 7pm)

    Limerick – Wednesday 3 May 2006 (4 – 6pm)
    Waterford – Thursday 4 May 2006 (5 – 7pm)
    Belfast - TBC
