Well I done my first mod last night on the New Ducati. Its a simple enough one. While I was out doing a dyno run with the lads from Irishbikerforum, I noticed one of the lads on a veryn ice BMW. Had a power socket. Never knowing you could have one on a bike I was stunned to say the least. This lad a compresser that powered off it as well as a bike to bike/passanger audio system. seeing instanly how handy this is. I decided to get one for the bike. With a little help he pointed me to this site called nippy normans. Its mainly a BMW site. But they do some universal stuff as well. Like the power point. I ordered from them on tuesday and on the thursday had the stuff in my hands! Was cheap enough too. So I decided to order 4 connectors incase things need a little change (the connection is smaller than the one in cars) also one converter and a mounting kit.

so anyway. I got home last night and decided to give it a go. It took me 20min to install. In this time, I had to find a proper screw driver and go to the shop to get electrical tape. Was really easy to do and is barely noticeable (even on a monster with nothing on it!) Will be testing it today, as I had nothing to test it on at the house. I have a game boy advanced at my sisters with a car kit :D lol Anyway. I have a car adapter on order for my MP3 player and hope to get a audio system in the next week or two. So all will be nice :D

Its a 12v 5amp connecter. Will come in well handy. Just need to get a decent compresser or at least hope someone else on the Rev-up will have one :D

Nope, I'm getting a Star Com1 Bike to bike/passanger comms system. You plug the MP3 player into it, a 2 way radio and so on. So it will pipe the music thorugh to the hemlet and then switch to the 2way/passanger if someone talks. I'm getting the charger as I know the MP3 player doesn't last to long anymore. so it be handy to have to charge it off the power from the bike.

    have a look at www.st-owners.com
Its a Pan-Euro site, and there are fair experts on all the coms systems. The majority recommend the Auto com...
Ive heard a few systems myself, and in general the seem s***.. So what I`ve seen from the autocom, has sold me anyways.
Im gonna get one when I get my new bike, I`ll tell ye what i think then
