Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You will feel the pain of 128MB mem & 1.4GB space.
Try debian - not the most user-friendly, by todays standards, however it's fairly lightweight, which you really need.
Note, install a lightweight windows manager, xfce or blackbox, gnome/kde would kill that machine.

I never said P2 wouldn't run gnome, I said with the amount of RAM, it would be horrible.

    Hmm,
you won't be streaming much with 1.4G of disk space.

Download the latest Damn Small Linux, (50MB) and see how you like it.
It'll give you firefox and messaging, and a good email client.
The included word processor is basic, but you can add abiword
which is as good as you'll run in 128M RAM.
It has a media player which works well.

If you install it to disk using the included installer,
it'll speed it up a lot, and will take up less than 200M of diskspace.

    Won't take you long anyway!
