Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

cant open folder, help/

ok, i've got this folder containing about 16.5gigs of music for some reason i can no longer open said folder without it going cak cak - i click on it and the window opens but the timer stays running and the files never appear, then it crashes and task manager kicks in and closes it. this problem started a few months back.…

ok, i've got this folder containing about 16.5gigs of music

for some reason i can no longer open said folder without it going cak cak - i click on it and the window opens but the timer stays running and the files never appear, then it crashes and task manager kicks in and closes it. this problem started a few months back.

i can still access the music files via normal computer file search but its irritating. what could be the cause? cani fix it?

OS is XP home

Give a rough idea of the folder/tree structure.
Can you access it OK in Safe Mode?

try searching for "thumbs.db" and deleting the one that's inside your music folder (this is just a shot in the dark tbh)
