Thanks, Yeh all the settings where in French so it took me ages to even get it like that, because I had to change The web buttons ect,
And the links not up yet because the new patch isn’t out just yet!!

Chip/Modify your PS2, buy a DVD burner (if you dont already have one) , take an image of your original PES5 DVD, use certain programs to apply the patched files to the original image, rebuild it, then burn.
Pop it into your PS2 and you're away.
Thats the process simplified a lot, but its the general method and requirements. So to answer your "will it **** up my game?" question, no it wont, as you'll be using a new DVD with your patched PES5 on it instead of your original, which will be sitting nicely in the box it came in.
