Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

After the sell-out success of Mayfest 2005 COLLECTIVE-MUSIC bring you yet another exclusive line-up at their home - V1 NITECLUB @ THE VAULTS,IFSC,DUBLIN 1 on bank holiday Sunday April 30th.Kicking off proceedings in Room 1 is none other than the legendary DAVE SEAMAN ,an artist who has amassed lengthy credentials in a hugely successful career spanning over two decades.Initially part of the ridiculously popular Brothers in Rhythm(with Steve Anderson) ,they created classics such as 'Such a good feeling' , 'Peace and harmony', not to mention an unforgettable remix of Sabrina Johnston's 'Peace in the valley' - These were tracks that helped define a golden age of early dance music which quickly brought Brothers in Rhythm to the attention of Pet Shop Boys with Chris Lowe once describing 'Such a good feeling' as one of his favourite all time records. The success brought on from here led to the duo working extensively with Kylie Minogue on her albums - 'Impossible Princess' and 'Kylie Minogue', writing tracks like 'Did it again' and the atmospheric 'Confide in me' - "Probably the song we've made I'm most proud of" Dave says now.Together they went on to work with one the biggest pop acts of the nineties - Take that , producing the outstanding 'Nobody else' album and tracks like 'Never forget' and 'Sure'.

Dave moved on to start up(with Nick Gordon Brown,Mixmag) the infamous Stress records in the early nineties releasing productions from Sasha,John Digweed,Andy Cato(Groove Armada) aswell as remixing U2 , David Bowie , New Order , Sting , Alanis Morrisette , Blur to name only a few.We think it's fair to say no other British dance team has made such impression on mainstream pop and rock acts as Brothers in Rhythm. In the late nineties Dave started up Audio Therapy, and the company has since become an A-list team of Dj's and producers(Chable,Habersham,Infusion,Phil k,Stel,Lexicon Avenue) as well as working with top international Dj's like Timo Maas,Anthony Pappa , James Holden , Evolution and The Light.Dave has compiled and mixed close on 30 cd's including the massive Global Underground - 'Buenos Aires','Cape town' and 'Melbourne' and Renaissance compilations 'London','Singapore','America','Desire','Therapy sessions' and 'The Masters Series',In total 13 compilations for Renaissance. In short this man has set the standard that many young Dj's and producers have followed and in our eyes there is only one Dave Seaman(not the bloke that played in goal for Arsenal).Support on the night comes from COLLECTIVE-MUSIC resident BRIAN CODY.Brian has continuously pushed his upfront sounds on the Dublin circuit and airwaves for many years, with his all round deck skills being second to none.He writes for media outlets such as Dmcupdate and Residentadvisor and has recently relaunched his weekly live radio show on respected Irish internet station Powerfm.org. Starting off proceedings in Room 1 is young Dublin Dj and producer GER STOKES whose remixes are being played by Dj's James Zabiela just to name just one.

Room 2 gets a complete Techno overhaul with German Dj and producer ALEXANDER KOWALSKI.Alexander makes his debut appearance in Ireland at V1 to help launch his new album 'Changes' on the Pias label 'Different' due for release in May.He is generally regarded in techno circles as one of the best live performers on the circuit with releases on well known labels such Tresor,Konsequent,Ungleich and Kanzleramt. To date he has put out three albums - 'Echoes','Responce' and 'Progress' making Album of The Month in the German Groove magazine . Having sold thousands of albums and played some of the biggest festivals in Europe, he received an award in the category “Best Single” at Music & Machine for “'All I Got To Know' with Kitty Yo´s vocalist Raz Ohara and has gone on to remix tracks for Turner, Elektrochemie LK, Sono 2000, Codec & Flexor, Glenn Wilson, Alan Oldham, Martini Brös and following this with the huge club-hit with Raz Ohara called “Hot Spot”, selling shed loads more records and making his way into the top three positions in almost every readers poll in Germanys dance music press top ten's : Best Producer, Best Album, Best Live Act. Alexander was also nominated twice for the German Dance Awards 2003.2004 saw him collaborate with friends Joris Voom and Funk D'void releasing the tracks 'You think you know' and 'Days of our liar' on Kanzleramt.2005 has seen Alexander busy in the studio and on the road performing his breathtaking live show.In a short space of time A.K has quite clearly established himself as a force to be reckoned with on the global Techno scene.Support on the night comes from the Don Corleone of techno in Dublin , Electric City's Giles Armstrong.Giles would need little or no introduction to anyone who knows anything about good Techno music in this city.Joining GILES ARMSTRONG on the night will be Irelands best and well known Techno Dj - SUNIL SHARPE.If you like techno there's only one place to be this Bank holiday Sunday and that is Collective-music at V1 Niteclub @ The Vaults,IFSC,Dublin 1.

In Room 3 we welcome the best of what dance music has to offer in Limerick - Vivamusic and Phono. The guys will be bringing their sound to C-m with a mixture of dj and live sets on the night. For anyone who has attended any of their nights in limerick then you know what's lined up.Adrian , Dan, Daragh , John and Donnie have continued to promote good music in their home town and now make their mark at Collective-music.

Collective-Music , Music for music people.......
