Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A last few pair of shoes I bought have not lasted long.

I usually went for the same well known brand - Has any body any suggestions for a durable men's pair of shoes?

Clarks and barrots own brand shoes are always great quality.

Have to agree with Clarks here too (for work shoes).
Get a good pair around the 80 or 90 mark and look after them.

I'm going to sing the praises of Doc Martens. It takes a bit of effort to break them in but they are exceptionally long-lasting. They're not all boots either, they have some standard shoe styles afaik.

I completely agree. And as Liquorice has said, they have plenty of equally long-lasting shoe styles if you're not into boots. They do, as mentioned, require a bit of perseverance when breaking them in, but the effort is well worth it in the end.
