Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok recently i've been thinking of getting a new shaft for my R7. At the moment it has a regular flex shaft which isnt causing too many problems now but last year when i got the club i had a seious problem hooking the ball. Since then i have sorted out the hook but lack the type of consistancy i'd like off the tee. I think id benefit from changing to a stiff shaft but dont a great deal about the different types of shafts and what will help me the most. Basically im just looking for a general idea into what would be the best make of shaft and is there any decent places (test centres, etc) to try different shafts and get one fitted?

If you decide to change the shaft, it is going to cost about €100 as far a i know (someone feel free to correct me if im wrong). If i were you i would just go into your golf shop and swap it for the same club in with the shaft of your choice, i doubt you'll even have to hand over any cash.

The pro in my club mentioned that i could do that aswell, as he said it would cost 80 euro to re shaft my r7 so im considering my options. I see there is the new r7 460 out which has caught my eye, so i might call into mcguirks at some stage and see will they do some sort of deal for me. Unless someone on boards makes me a nice offer i cant refuse;)
