Hey just wondering if anybody here would be interested in heading to the temple bar music centre on the 28th of April?
The main act is "The Heartaches", some punk band, however theres gonna be a suspension show going on run by the guys in bodyshock on the night also. Which id be more interested in seeing

I'd be into doing a suspension myself, would need to have holidays though to allow the bruising and bubbles to work out for a few days and not have to sit at the work desk with the pain.

I wonder if they'd let the public suspend or pull or will it just be whatever group of people they've organized already, like in November? I'd love to try a pull at least to start with if l could.

Actually in November someone in the audience decided to jump up on stage and demand a pull, they had their hooks thrown in the corner and pulled with someone already up there. To be fair they seemed reasonably acquainted with Paddy et al but it was an impromptu thing so turning a blind eye to whether people not declared as taking part have insurance doesn't seem to be an issue when it suits them.

Well I'd say you'd definitly have to know them to get them to suspend you/all you to pull. Can't see Paddy just doing anyone to be honest.
Hmm..I've been saying that I'll definintly try and suspend this year. Doubt I'll get to this though, I have too much going on down here to try and get up to Dublin right now.

I think that was Gav from Zulu, he said he did a pull at some event for a bet, he hadn't done it before, and wont do it again. I was looking at pics of it in the booth one day when I was getting some work done and he was explaining it.

Yeah youd most likely have to know either of the two paddys, maybe ask him if you really wanna but i doubt it.

It's due to start roughly eightish, possibly earlier. I was just in celestial ring and asked Paddy there. If anyone shows up, I'm the girl with the short spikey hair and lip ring.

I was there twas not really a show more an exhibition, the band weren't great so didn't stay til the end. I got some pics i'll post but gotta shrink them down first

I have to say, having only ever seen pics of suspensions online, I was utterly enthralled. It was just amazing. And the girl hanging from her knees (I can't remember her name, although I know I knew it at some point) was just kick ass. I really, really would love to do one now.

That's Kay - she works in Celestial Ring over in Abbey St. Check out Ferox 13 on my space or you tube - he filmed that night, so may have some stuff online soon....
