Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

:p hope it wasn't too much.

Good to see Arsenal and Boro doing well for the Premier League.

1st team to ever come back from 2-0 down in the 1st leg?

Well done but Basel are fairly crap.

There's a good few instances of teams coming from 3-0 down after first leg to win european ties. Or are you refering to something more specific?

I did'nt bother watching the second half so sure was I they'd crash and burn!

The spirit of Istanbul lives on!

Given the teams left they now should be in with a serious shout.

Was there anyone in the Riverside by the end?

    Mike.

Could be just CL specific then, was on BBC text during the week in regards to Juve.

Didn't Deportivo turn around a 3-0 away loss to AC Milan a few seasons back?

Lost of teams have possibly turned over a 3-0 but seemingly never a 2-0, could be just CL tho.

    Boro were class.
Never dropped the heads when they were 1-0 down (3-0 on aggregate!)
    Great win and deserved.
Mind you Basle should have been put away earlier in the tie.
Wonder if "Jimmy" is still going?

F**k it, was watching game on UTV and when I seen Boro go one down I switched over. Missed the whole game, couldnt believe it on radio this mornig when they said it ended 4-1, thought they where taking the piss

Amazing game. When they went in 1-1 at HT thought they could do it, but was amazed that maclaren managed to motivate the team so well. They came out attacking and got their just rewards. Nearly lost it at the very death though!

McLaren motivating and making astute substitutions? Whatever next? Still on cloud 9!

Great win for Boro. They really took the bull by the horns (Its a metaphor!!)

Great performance but the Basle player should never have gotten sent off. It was a shocking decision and it certainly helped Boro's cause. Keeper should have saved Maccarone's goal as well.

Still fair play to Boro for a great come back.

Goals here (real player) from a swiss website:

    0-1
    1-1
    2-1
    3-1
    4-1

Could that be the best comeback in European football? They were 3-0 with 65 minutes to go and they managed it. Amazing.

Not to mention that they needed 4 to go through, the 3 wouldn't have been worth squat. Unbelievable stuff, fair play Boro.
