Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Saturday April 15th 2006

    Exalt, Slattery’s, 29 Capel Street, Dublin 1.
    11PM until late – 5 euro

    Dancepig DJ SET (king nail)
    Jobbicus Finch (52funk)
    Jay Alexander (stigma)

    Visuals by Cal-tv (cal-tv.net)

New to Capel St, new to Dublin and new to your dreams, April 15th sees the launch of a new fortnightly party upstairs in Slattery’s of Capel Street. A neighbourly atmosphere and a soundtrack of tunes that pluck at the heartstrings while tugging at the balls, want in? This first night is residents night giving us an opportunity to set out our stall and show you what we’re about.

Leading the charge will be Dublin based producer Dancepig. His recent Electrolites EP on his own King Nail label is proving popular with the masses, while an upcoming release on David Carretta’s Space Factory looks likely to spread the message further. Dancepig has played with names such as Dr Lectroluv, The Hacker, DJ Serge, David Caretta, T.Raumschmiere and Alden Tyrell.

52Funk regular Jobbicus Finch will take the middle slot. His recent sterling performances at Kennedy’s and The Sugar Club saw him mixing it up with italo, electro and chicago house.

Bringing up the rear and what a rear it is, is Jay Alexander. Jay’s early morning Minge sets earned him many followers and he most recently blew the roof off Fast Eddie’s in Cork with his minimal expertise at a headlining slot for Bass Ireland.

And oh yeah, be there or that horse is seriously in for a rough night.

We have 3 'Dancepig - Electrolites EP' CDs (thanks to www.kingnail.com) to give away to the first people to answer this question:

Which horse won the 2006 grand national?

    a) Nail desperatum
    b) Numbersixvalverde
    c) Mingehunter

Send answers to getboxed@gmail.com - the CDs can be collected on the night.
