actually no, you'll find it hard pressed to find a decent place to tattoo your hands..especially if your not very tattooed already (sorry, i dont know whether you are or not, but I'm assuming by the fact you dont know the answer to this question that you mightn't be) anyway, no good artist is going to put your potential job/career options at risk by doing something that will effect an employeers decision and in turn will make it hard for you to get work. it wouldn't be worth it. Also, with hand tattoos the ink in them tends to fade quite fast, therefore meaning a lot of touch ups and rework having to be done to the area and even then its still no guarentee that you'll end up with a good looking tattoo....hmm. I don't have time to go looking for pics as examples for you, but one that springs to mind is Shannon at bmezine.com if you read his diary entries theres been pics of his hands that he's gotten recently tattooed and had touched up and still there quite badly faded....
blah, blah...hopefully all that made sense. :)

Just to reiterate what Porn_star said, any studio that will do your hands if you are not already covered in tattoos is not someplace that you want tattooing you. If they are being frugal with their interpretation of unwritten rules like that the chances are that their standards of hygene and art are not up to it, cos they cant get any work and will do any. You really want to go to studios that can afford to refuse work, not the ones that cant....
