Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I want to tidy up my registry but there are load of programs to choose from. Im sure a lot of them are crap. What one would be best? Also anybody know of any good HD Utilities for defragging/fixing up a hard drive?

    Thanks,

    Hakko

    Which OS?
Automated registry cleaners are more likely to cause more problems than they solve.

    For defrag'ing - DisKeeper(€!) - it is excellent though.
For "fixing up" - SpinRite(€ as well).

    Personally, nothing beats a good Ghost'ing. :)

    Try Crap Cleaner. http://www.ccleaner.com/

It can be overzealous at times so cast an eye over what it's going to delete before going ahead with it.

I use RegistryFix (its not free though) and CCleaner is a good free one though.

What ever you do create a restore point as regcleaners can cause some interesting problems

Tweak now reg cleaner is on download.com and it works + keeps a backup of changes
