hi, i wanted to ask a few questions (again)

you know the glowsticks you can get (like regular glowsticks but smaller for tongue or belly button piercings) i asked in a place if they sold them and i was told that they no longer made them as there is mercury in them and if someone bit it it could break and kill them is this true (obviously swallowing mercury is dangerous, but can they break easily?)

i wanted to get a scoffold or rook in the summer, which would heal faster, would it be possible to get both at once and would it be best to place them on seperate ears or on one?

    thank you!!!

100% false, noone would put mercury into oral jewellery.

I still see these around all of the time in almost every piercing shop around Dublin.

You would really have to question the quality of jewellery that can be bought from Asha though.

Although I hate metalmorphosis i'm sure they have that type of jewellery in stock.

I heard that thing about the mercury too actually, but I didn't take much notice of it...

a rook would probably heal a bit faster then the scaffold. Just because with a scaffold your gonna be healing too sites on your ear and there's gonna be that extra pressure with the one bar. It wil heal faster if you get it pierced and put too bars in it first, let it heal and then put one bar through it. Saying that, not everyone wants to do it that way. My old piercer wanted to pierce my first scaffold like that, but I wouldn't let him, cos I'm a stubborn biatch...or so I was told at the time!! :p Anyways...you could indeed get both the rook and scaffold done at the same time, if that your wish. its up to you if you want them on seperate ears..but if your planning a rook on the same ear and are doing it at a later date just tell you piercer first, just so they can place the scaffold in a way that won't allow a rook....but it is possible...i've got two scaffolds in my right ear and I'd still manage a rook piercing no problemo if I chose to...hope that helps!!

and the title of this thread made me laugh...do we really give out to people so much about posting stupid questions, that you felt the need to apologise...heehee... not that your questions were stupid though...at least it wasn't something like...decide what piercing i want...
    hmm..i'm talkative today!! :D:p

lol, i seem to be asking alot of questions on this board latly lol.

well i trapsed through town and couldnt find any, two shops said visuals on liffy street, they didnt do them though :(

i guess they are only availible online :(
    snakebite didnt seem freindly
celestial ring and metal morphisis were very freindly, and they answered questions using more than monosylabic words

eh, ask your questions away. It's how ya learn...your not asking stupid ass questions anyway, so I doubt anybody minds...and if they do, I'll always answer...saying that I'll do anything to make me not have to study....hm..

yeah, you'll probably get them online alright...although now that I think of it, I'm sure a shop down here sells them, so I'm imagine you should def find them somewhere in Dublin...

Snakebite are usually friendly..so can't really comment.
I'm not so much a fan of metalmorphosis though.

Whatever you do, don't get them both done at the same time and on seperate ears! You won't be able to sleep on either side for ages and will be tortured trying to get to sleep. I (stupidly) made this mistake a few years ago and had to sleep on my back for weeks.

Start a new thread on this subject then if you need help, dont hijack someone elses, I mean what you want is only vaguely related so people might not even get this far.
Also possibly try posting something similar to the gay forum, seeing how that is more your catchment audience, also on that subject be sure to study up on Fakir Mussafar (Modern Primitives), primarily a body mod icon but he is also gay.

that said, mercury fillings are not uncommon so I can see how people could believe this...
