Most of them deserted the beautiful game when something with more than 256 shades of brown came along. If you ask me, all those extra colours just distract you from the gameplay

lol is it me or is Quake2 riddled with dodgy players..

Although I suppose it is only played by the hardcore gamers and ...?

I havent played it in a few months but I go on every now and then..

Is there any Irish Quake Servers?
Ideally Quake 2 but I doubt there's any of them..

Does anyone know/remember an Irish Quake2 clan called DzR? What happened to them? They used to be pretty class until they went over to UT or CS

There is no Irish Quake2 server, but there are some active Irish QuakeWorld servers, such as 82.195.149.82 which is in use most nights.

Doozer went on to play Q3 for one season before going to Unreal Tournament fulltime. They were in several Eurocups and were very good, some of them are still playing again in UT2K4.

Yeah we went over to UT, played that for a while and got pretty good too. It didn't hold my interest like the Q2 days tho...

Dzr moved to UT to try and find some success, they were always quite spammy so the UT weapons suited their style :)
