Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If you're talking about The Metropolitan on Eden Quay, that place turned into an "Irish Music Bar" in February 2005 and then became a strip club a few months later. It also changed its name to "The Met".

The people who own the Arlington bought it. We were going to put on nights on Wednesday and Thursday but the manager told us to run as the lady who owns it thinks trad is just the nuts.

I'd like to see the till receipts now versus the good old days!

I was there a year or two ago, shame it's gone, there's a serious lack of decent dance music orientated clubs in Dublin for a big City

Yep, I always thought it was madness to stop the club nights. Between Electric City and Bassbin, I'd say they raked it in. Was a nice club too :(

Refuge @ the Metropolitan used to be brilliant. It was easily the best constant night in dublin at the time. Think it's moved to viva/mischief now ?
