you already asked that question before.
yes, its possible to get a rook and scaffold on the same ear, it just means that the placement of the scaffold won't go to low and cross the rook. There wouldn't be that many scaffolds that go that low anyway, but some people choose it like that. I don't see what the rush is in getting two at the one time, so I'd advice leaving it and letting the scaffold heal first. they can be pretty tricky sometimes. I've honestly said ALL of this to you before, so why it needs to be repeated I don't know.
By all means get both done if you really want, once you'r prepared to look after them efficiently.
No your ear won't collapse..it's not that common, unless you are really careless, go to a **** piercer, then don't look after them and an infection spreads. All these answers are on the net already..google, bme, etc.

As I said in your other thread mate, sleeping will be a problem. You just wait until you have it done. Trust me ;)

    ^^^^ GOD NO!

i am not getting them done until the summer. no need to be an asshole.

i wanted to find out as i would have to wait another year before i got it done.
i am still in school, and will be for awhile yet. i would have to wait for each summer as in the summer i have more time to look after them in the mornings and in the evenings.

    it was just a question.

    no need to be mean

well, it's perfectly easy to look after piercings while your in school. I've done it for the last 6 years. It doesn't take that long to do soaks. Unless, your really lazy..I'm sure 10 minutes of tv/internet could be forfitted.but whatever.

Get the rook first, If you get a scaffold first it could migrate(naturally\harmlessly) but could grow into getting in the way of the rook.

Also the scaffold will take forever to heal(dont know a single person who's scaffold doesn' give them some hassle every so often. So go rook first,

Good combination by the way, damn my office job!

*raises hand* I have three scaffolds...two helix to helix and one vertical. None give me any trouble.
And a roo could migrate just as much as a scaffold. I don't know anyone whose had a scaffold reject, but plenty who've lost rooks. Then, its different for everyone. But I wouldn't necessarily recommend getting a rook first for that reason.
and crazydude.all you have to do is get up 10minutes earlier. You're making an issue over nothing.

yeah. i suppose your right...just you know give it a small bit of time to heal so if someone accidently hits it it wont be as painful as it would be when first done. and summer is the only time i could convince my mum for parental permission

Sleeping WILL be a problem. I've had my helix done a few times (for some reason I can't heal it, but that's another subject) and I never had trouble sleeping on it, even when it was fresh. When I got my rook/tragus pierced it was excruciating to sleep on. The cartilage is thicker so it hurts that bit more, or so is my understanding.

Don't risk getting them done on both sides and then having to sacrifice proper sleep for a couple of weeks.
