I'm looking for a city bike. Something simple that will get me round the city and not draw too much attention from would be criminals. Can anyone offer me a bike or point me in the right direction?

    Thanks

pick something up at the Garda auction maybe (dont know when it is)
Then get a good lock, maybe even two good locks. That should deter most.

the garda auction has just passed it was on about four weeks ago. waste of time there was only mediocre bikes that people over bid on and you have to bear in mind where these bike have been lying before they were found?? too much hassle unless you can repair bikes yourself and have the tools.
i know halfords have been getting stick but, the one i coolock is good, they have raleigh bikes for a decent price worth a look if you just want to spend e200 bear in mind that the price includes assembly, safty check and a free service after 6 weeks
