Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Great game so far. Good fluid attack from both sides, but again, Rooney is proving the difference. The only thing I don't like is that this result is good for Arsenal

    He made one important interception when the ball was cut back for Giggs in the box.
    So you havn't seen him make a tackle yet either? ;)

    0-1 Rooney
    0-2 Rooney

    Streams proving difficult to acquire.

    Ugh, Jenas scored from a terrible mix up off a corner that should never have been and Ruud just missed a one on one he should have buried.

    Come on Wayne, bag your hat trick and kill the game off.

    The sum-total of the distance out for each goal scored today can't be more than 10 yards. Every one a tap-in.

    Ooooh! Volley from Keane followed up by a great save for Robinson from Van Nistelrooy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,010 ✭✭✭besty

    Ahhhhhh, Ruud should have scored. Smashed off the post from 6 yards. He's had 2 super chances today. There's still life in this.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 28,128 ✭✭✭✭Mossy Monk

    that'll do

    1-2 FT

    Brilliant result for United.

    Now come on Toffees, I know it's a real long shot, but the title race isn't over yet!

    Yeah but even if you'd gotten a draw you'd be in a much better position. If Arsenal do manage to win next week, given their much better goal difference they will only need 2 wins and a draw from their last 3 games. And one of them is against Sunderland. Ok I know United couldn't beat them but still, they're the worst team in Premiership history.

    Tbh I dont think a draw would have made a huge difference. It all depends on the arsenal game. Spurs need to win against west ham and bolton and Id fancy them to do so. If arsenal win 4th is theirs if spurs win spurs will take fourth. If its a draw spurs will have a very good chance and an extra point today wouldnt have made a massive difference.

    2 brilliant passes for the first goal by rooney, then an awul mistake for the second. was a bit baffled by the spurs goal, didnt see a united player get a touch for the corner and then the schoolboy error, nobody on the post to clear it. bad mix up between vidic and rio. ruud had 2 great chances to kill off the game, but spurs were poor in the second half. they created nothing after scoring. heres hoping everton do a small favour.

    Yeah but if Spurs lose the extra point today would have made a difference. Arsenal will hopefully be concentrating on the Champions league and Man City as poor as they are playing and Wigan at home aren't 3 point bankers the way Arsenal have played this season. The point dropped today will give Arsenal some breathing space if they do manage to win next week.

    Yes troll boy, Spurs (chasing 4th place) rolled over for ManYoo, probably done it deliberately to deny Liverpool a chance of 2nd place...:rolleyes:

    West Brom 0-0 Bolton

    which does'nt help either club really.

    the table

    Chelsea----35====88
    Man Utd----35===79
    Liverpool----35===73
    Tottenham--35===61
    Arsenal
    34===57
    Blackburn---34===54
    Newcastle-- 35===51
    Bolton
    34===49
    West Ham---35===49
    Wigan
    34===48
    Charlton---- 35===47
    Everton
    35===45
    Milesbrough-34===43
    Man City----34===40
    Aston Villa--34===39
    Fulham
    34===39
    Portsmouth--35==32

    yes, trolls wearing man u jerseys could beat spurs in the premiership
    spurs v united in the premiership

    played 28 times, won 3, drew 5, lost 20

    i wish they had it in them to do it deliberately

    I thought Trolls ( the Uruguayan left back ? ) had been contoroversially signed by Chelsea even though Liverpool and Utd had clearly thought about signing him in the past, AFAIK he didn't get a visa though.

    Newcastle up to 7th :eek:

    What's the UEFA Cup situation for league places? If 'Boro don't win the competition, will it be 5th and 6th get a place? It's a tad confusing.

    if boro win the uefa cup and reach the final of the fa cup, then 7th spot is a uefa cup space ;)
