  • Registered Users Posts: 1,326 ✭✭✭pretty*monster

... (are we still supposed to pretend that lake two is a big secret)

    It's beside the Conway institute

Lake 2 isnt a secret, it just has a suspicious name. People drink there all teh time, just not in such big numbers usually.

    I've two very important questions
-Are ya gonna get the beard shaved too?
-What are ya gonna do with the hair?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,255 ✭✭✭✭The_Minister

Will services actually turn a blind eye or will they just ignore small groups?

Ah no, I didn't mean anything like that, I just meant be creative with it, make a rope or something, or even a wig for someone else

Actually I'm donating the "proceeds", as I call them, to Hugh Gough - so that he can have the toupee he's always dreamed of.

    Plucky little guy.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,578 ✭✭✭Scraggs

Pity, coz Zane woulda paid good money for it:D

You're using Zane to fund your evil voodoo doll scheme?!
My god... You are one manipulative, sick puppy.

    See, everyone?
    Completely barmy.
I'd never let my precious hair fall into the hands of such a Plough-obsessed, musically-incoherent, deranged maniac!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,578 ✭✭✭Scraggs

Nah I didnt want it anyway I was just thinking of the heart defected kiddies and the money Zane would've paid...

I don't think I'm gonna break the 500 euro mark necessary to make boneless shave his head into a stylish Mohawk type-dealie... Pity.
Woulda been a contender for the World's smallest Mohawk!
And who wouldn't wanna see that?!

Hmm now I shall be the unquestioned master of male long-hairedness on the ucd board? I shall attend and cackle maniacly as my title is confirmed. Also I will donate money.

I am a contender for a lot of the "Worlds Smallest" catagories... I was thinking of a Cheyene Warlock instead of the Mohawk; 82nd as opposed to 101st!!!

There's an 'official' policy to turn a blind eye on the last day of term. To quote Richard Butler 'There is absolutly no public drinking an campus... well.... maybe once a year, but we'll say no more about that.'

Last year, services showed up in their Jeep, stared us out of it, asked us to stop drinking, drove off, returned, and continued to stare us out of it all day. It's really just a case of standing your ground and ensuring that there's a big enough group that it's not worth the bother of moving us.
The police came last year too. But only asked us to put out the fire :)

True, the only thing is ensuring a crowd, the old heads who used to organise these things are more or less gone.

They organised decks and the likes last year but, I dont think anybody has thought of anything like that this year.

Heh, that was funny... They came over and asked us to put it out - which we did without complaining...

Then they left and we restarted the fire.

In fairness, they only asked us to put out the fire, they never told us not to start it again!:D

Good idea... People might've made fun of the 101st connection:
    "What's that Eagle Screamin' for?"
    "HELP! HELP!"
    :D

I told you that fact was embargoed... our 'special little arrangement' and all that. I might have to take 'disciplinary' action now... *searches for handcuffs and other stuff...*

I'll pop along and support your noble cause (what charity is it for btw?). I only you had decided earlier that you were going to do this, and I wouldn't have shaved my head that morning! Although, my hair wasn't quite as long as yours I could have been a kind of warm up act to the main attraction, i.e. your Samson-esque locks and their bid for freedom:p .

    Heart Children Ireland
Charity for children born with Congenital Heart Defects (CHD), based in Our Lady's Hospital in Crumlin. Set up in 1990 as a parent support group for families of children with CHD. Also plays a large part in improving facilities for children with CHD, and significant fund-raising proceeds have gone directly to the Cardiac Services Dept. in Crumlin towards:
    • A heart/lung bypass machine
    • Digital Imaging Equipment
    • Echo Doppler Equipment
    • Pre-Admission Cardiac Programme
    • Intensive Care Bed Spaces
    • Playroom in St. Brigid's Ward
    • Funding a Cardiac Liason Nurse for 3 years
    • Funding a Cardiac Play Specialist for 3 years

    S'alright, I guess...:)
