Java App GUI mucking up

    Has this happened to anyone else? I have created two text areas and two scroll panes for them. both TextArea and ScrollPane have the same co-ordinates.

    the scrollpane appears at co-ordinates i programmed but textarea only appears in top left corner..

    any help would be great

    Could be something to do with the layout manager, but yes code would be helpful

    i have been told by someone of the Sun forums.. that i should mix AWT and Swing components, which i was doing.

    its cleared up now.
