    Nice poll, personal opinion though ... most people will fit into

    €500-749 per month
    €750-999 per month
    €1,000-1,499 per month

    the range is too large

    If the poll was done as you suggest, it would only cover the following
    €500-749 per month 40 25.97%
    €750-999 per month 12 7.79%
    €1,000-1,499 per month 19 12.34%

    25.97% + 7.79% + 12.34% = 46.1%

    Depends on what you rent!
    A four bed detatched will cost a bit more than the box room in a shared house.
    To get a better picture you need to know what is being rented and how much

    NZ$150/week for in a 2 bed city centre apartment in Auckland. Not a hope a could get a price like that in Dublin.
