    Is there anywhere that'll do an on the spot reg plate for you in the Dublin area, or are all the shops just sending orders back to one of a few companies in batches to be collected a few days later?

    any good motot factor will them on the spot try southside motor factors or halfords

    I know that Rickards in Rathgar (at least they used to be) do a same day service.

    Halfords only take 5-10 minutes. Tenner, if I remember correctly.

    I always buy my plates from Merlin Garages (formerly Windsor Motors).

    Properly aluminium pressed plates for €20 a pair - while u wait.

    They have a branch on Belgard Rd.
