    The Gingerbread Man (1998) .. just starting on BBC1.

    RTE2 has The Last Picture Show on, 02:45 on Saturday morning. It's one of those films that everyone should see as part of a well-rounded cinematic education, in my opinion. ;)

    The Departed is on RTE1 tonight at 9:40pm. Definitely well worth a watch.

    The Italian Job (the original one) is on Channel 4 at 7:05pm this evening.

    And for those of you with Sky etc This Is Spinal Tap is on Dave at 9pm.

    Not a big fan of Kubrick but think that this film is one that people should watch.

    Vincent D'Onofrio is excellent in the role of Pvt. Pyle. He is really a very underrated actor, and is really wasted in Law and Order:CI (best thing about the show).

    My Son (A Day With My Son)

    is on RTE 2 tonight at 23:55 . A Jang Jin film with English subtitles. An excellent Korean film that is engaging and well worth staying up for.
