    Zombie Strippers!

A contemporary take on the classic B-movie, this comic horror tale reveals what happens when US scientists develop a virus that can reanimate the dead. Naturally, the virus is not contained and soon spreads to a strip club in Nebraska where a girl who succumbs to the bug develops a taste for human flesh. Despite this affliction, her popularity at the club increases immensely, boosting the manager's takings but posing a dilemma for the other strippers who must decide whether to embrace the life of the undead in order to earn more in tips.

I can't really recommend this but TCM have added Oliver Stones second feature film, The Hand to thier roster, Its on at 00.50am. Illustator Michael Caine looses his drawing hand in an accident and it turns murderous. Caine is pretty good and its got some style.

I, vaguely, remember that film -- think it's worth a watch. It's followed by Badlands, too. Now that is worth watching (on TCM now, or repeated 02:45, after The Hand).

Back when Steve Martin was funny.

The Man with Two Brains (1983)
    TCM 9:00pm-10:40pm (1 hour 40 minutes) Fri 27 Feb

Brilliant surgeon Steve Martin escapes the heartache and frustration of his ailing marriage by falling in love with a bottled human brain - but needs to find a suitable body to implant the object of his affections in, leading to all manner of madcap and sinister antics. Crazy comedy that successfully lives up to expectations, providing plenty of belly laughs to keep audiences entertained. Kathleen Turner, David Warner and Paul Benedict number among the sterling supporting cast, while Sissy Spacek provides the voice of the doctor's beloved brain

    Director Carl Reiner

A rather fine western on TG4 tonight

Posse (1975) starring Kirk Douglas and Bruce Dern, Douglas only film as a director and he does a good job.

A ruthless US marshal vows to capture a railroad bandit in a bid to further his political career. But his obsessive pursuit ends up costing him more popular support than he gains, while the wily outlaw has a devious plan of his own to deal with the ambitious lawman.

someone tonight recommended this "serenity" to me aswell.

Please tell me someone else saw The WaterBoy tonight and Waynes World 2!

    Two great comedies! :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 869 ✭✭✭flying _squirl

i didnt catch water boy (seen it before) saw waynes world thoe

"dyou think that im a gulla-bull? or even a gulla-calf?"

    :D

by the way, its worth noting that the tv seriese was better then the movie. unfortunatly it ends abruptly (was cancled for some reason) so the movie trys to take up where it left off and then cram in an ending and it kinda suffers for it.
