Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Smeills like Success

More details of the 2006 Budweiser Global Beats Festival to be held over the May Bank Holiday Week
in Limerick have just been announced.
Joining the already announced Mr. Scruff, *David Holmes, Colombian Salsa Legends Sexeto Café, Norman Jay and everyone’s favorite New Yorkers, Fun Lovin’ Criminals will be Spirit of Burlesque who will bring a troupe of can can dancers, fire twirlers and cigars sellers as well as the rockabilly sounds of the Mosquitoes and in a first for any Irish festival a two and a half hour set by the worlds only aroma jockey ODO7!

Born in Austria, Aroma Jockey ODO7 is the hottest sensation in today’s (dance) culture. With his mysterious aroma laboratory, ODO7 is mixing scents for your pleasure. Playing alongside the resident dj Paul Webb, Odo7 will take to the dj box at the Trinity Rooms from midnight on Saturday 29th April with over 165 different essential oils, home-made incenses, woods, leaves, fruits, crystals, balsams, roots, herbs and real pheromones plus hot plates, charcoal disks and 2 industrial fans.
“During the 2,5 hour set I create pleasant aromas and amazing effects. For example: I can let the audience travel from the Swiss Alps to an Indian market in a few seconds I can create Aphrodite’s love garden (by authentic recipies) or an Egypt temple sphere as well as I can make the crowd feel uplifted, euphoric, sensual-open, luxurious…I can’t wait to bring this vibe to the Irish audience for the global beats festival”

Full details of the entire weekend which includes over 30 free concerts in bars all over the city, workshops with the festival headliners and open air events are available now on www.budweiserglobalbeats.com
