    Hi,
Just wondering if anyone (like me) is going to unavoidably go over their CAPs on Eircom this month.
To my understanding this is the first month where Eircom have their new stats system up for a full month.
    I'm slightly worried....

I put this pole up just to see what you think will happen....

Eircom Customers: Are you over cap this month(April)? 10 votes

    Probably come in OVER cap
    0% 0 votes
    Probably come in UNDER cap
    100% 10 votes

<edit: Bishoplen, I've edited your poll a wee bit so there's only one option for each. Probably give a clearer result in the end.>

Where did you read about this April thing?

I just might have to cancel eircom if they start charging.

It is all speculation; from my reading on the forums noone has been charged ever. But eircom have been tinkering with the stats system. Discussions on this also have been going on.
The april month is the first month however where Eircom haven't done anything with the stats page; so it could be assummed that they could charge with a full month's stats.
Please correct me if my info is out in any way.

That's grand, I got a hot flush when I saw the banned post (seriously).
First time posting a poll, I spent time trying to figure out the right Q's etc. I just wanted to get the gut feeling (if you know what I mean) people had.

I just checked there and I'm over the limit now, the stats page has an exceeded label in the lengend for the graph. And the table has the amount I have gone over the limit so far. Found info from Eircom,
    * eircom reserves the right to apply a charge of 1 cent (inc. VAT) per Megabyte for downloads in excess of specified limits of the broadband package you are using. For details on download limits for each broadband package,

I went over the limit too.

and that 1c for 1mb has been displayed there for a long time.
