Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

New smart phone, New Connection Problems.

    just got an orange spv c550 and once again can't get my internet and mms settings to work. i emailed meteor to make sure i was set up and the said i was and they sent back settings that have to much stuff in them to go into my phone (see below).

    can anyone help me?
    do i need to set up a proxy connection?

    it's the same options as most smartphones as far as i know.

    has anyone got this phone working on meteor?

    in the data connections screen on my phone there are the following setup options:

    VPN Conections
    Decription:
    VPN type: (IPSec/L2TP)(PPTP)
    Server:
    Connects from: (Wap Network/internet etc...)
    Connects to: (Same as above)
    User name:
    Password:
    Domain:
    IPSec authentication: (Pre-shared Key) (Certificate)
    IPSec Pre-Shared key:

    Proxy Connections
    Description:
    Connects from: (wap network/internet etc...)
    Connects to: (same as above)
    Proxy (name: port):
    Type: (HTTP) (WAP)
    User name:
    Password:

    GPRS Connections
    Description:

    For GPRS, only put the APN and user id + pass. That's enough for TCP/IP gprs which i guess you have on that WM2003 phone. No dns or ip addresses necessary..

    still no joy. i think i've tried every different combination of settings and still nothing.

    does a proxy need to be setup?

    someone out there has to have got a smartphone working on meteor wap???
