    beetlebrox,

Great post, especially the Ballyshannon link.

Thanks & God Bless.:) .Can I just add that IMHO the Ballyshannon website is the best I have seen to date, and should be recognised as such, but I do not know if there is any way of officially registering my rating ??...

    SOLID-SLUG,

I am wondering who you are ?.. It is true that I was interviewed in London in (Black & White) T.V. in the 60's by a RTE programme called 'Radihairc'. The very first T.V. Documentary of it's type ever made by an Irish T.V. Crew.

At the time I was doing a summer job in a Hotel, I must have been about 18 years old, and now I am 60  .Personally, I did not see that until I asked for and received a copy from Raidhairc, after I came home in 1987.

I now have a copy, kindly supplied to me free by the programme/documentary makers. It was a bit of a shock to see myself as I was at that age.

It may be of interest to some to know that at the time, the Liverpool revolution groups were all staying in the Hotel, including Cilla Black, The Beatles, Billy J Kramer, The Hollies, Brian Epstein, plus P.J. Proby etc, etc.

All nice 'down to earth people' that I got to know very well.

Nice memorie's :) I could write a book about my experience's in that magical era ;) , but I would love to know who you are, and how you know so much ?..about me.YOU MUST BE A LOCAL ?? Give us a hint please !.On second thoughts if my activities in the 1960's are of of interest, then you are probably from 'Donegal Street' , Ballybofey ? ..and I would guess with the initial K ?, if so why only 2 posts from you so far.

You must have a lot more to contribute than a couple of posts focused on me. . Plus if anyone is interested, The Late and sadly missed famous Journalist and Mayor of Donegal Town,Joe McGarrrigle did a profile of me entitled ,Focus on "Pat McCLean" in December 1973 as far as I remember. As I have press cutttings going back over 30 years, I would have diffficulty finding it myself, but I am sure 'The Donegal Democrat' would supply copies to anyone interested. If I knew how to post the T.V. interview online, I would do it !.If people are interested.

    P. Maybe I should start a 'Paddys Life Thread/ or Blog ?, and post everything on that. Whaddya think ;)
