Location of e46 Diagnostic output?

    Anyone know where the disgnostic output is on the facelift model e46 (post Sept 2001). I know it used to be a 20-pin connector near the engine, but I can't spot it on my car, I think they changed the connector type and location when they upgraded the 318 engine. Can anyone help?

    I think its inside the car now down to the right of the steering wheel behind a panel.
