Not noticed anything myself. Tried clearing your cache? Sometimes it can be a rogue script/ad.

We seem to have two downtimes on a regular basis over last few nights, one around 3.05 / 3.10 and then the "offeeeshul" back-up at 4 a.m.

'Tis getting a wee bit beyond coincidental at this stage.

Any chance an old script might still be working as well as the one which activates the back-up at 4 ?

I like using the minimalist, it's the same colour as the software I use for work :)
Me being non nerdy, I shall try to explain what the problem is:

On normal white skin all the different icons work, the thanks button has the thumbs up for example.

On the minimalist skin, you don't see the thumbs up, you see a little white box with a red X in the middle.

I use minimalist, dont even get the red x, just the word thanks. on FF

    Lots of time-outs today.

    FF3, Eircom 7.6.

Likewise, slow pages loading, sticky replies, someone phone Daft and get them to write a cheque.

    Argh!

Taking three or four reloads to connect for the last while!

Two instances of supposed attempted duplicate posts, but I only hit post reply once. Then a database error and a couple of timeouts. Dropping the ball :P

I'm pretty sure Cult has only created images for some of the skins. If that skin doesn't have an image for that button then it will appear exactly how you describe. Seems like cult hasn't gotten around to creating those images yet.
