    Im just after getting a new ps2 (present). Its a silver slimline one.

    Im fairly new to all this stuff about modchips etc.. In fact I know nothing about it.

    What I want to do is to make my dvd player on it divx compatible so that it can play avi's and stuff like that. Is homebrew the answer? Or something like Reality media player?

    Do i have to get something installed on it?

    What do ye guys do?

    Also as far as i know it doesnt have a multi region dvd player on it, but there are ways around this...
